The Locals Crew Kiteboarding Courses in Apulia 

are aimed at anyone regardless of gender and age. We offer packages for beginner, intermediate and advance, both individual and group. Our instructors are experienced and certified by IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) and FIV (Federazione Italiana Vela).

Our mission is to create an environment for student to learn this exciting sport in a safe and fun.

At the end of the course you will be issued with an international license (IKO Card – visit www.ikointl.com) recognized all over the world, which will certify the level you have achieved. This certification will allow you access to schools and spots throughout the world. After the course you can keep practicing renting the equipment with an instructor supervision.

We provide also Advance Courses like:

  • UpWind Riding – The instructor follow you by the shore giving you useful tips and bringing your kite up wind so you can rest and think about you performance .

  • Old School – Learn how to riding toe side, transition, back flip, jump.

  • StrapLess – Learn how to ride a surfboard, to jibe and to tacking for transition.

  • Free Style – Unhook riding for really lear how to fly.

  • Hydrofoil – This is the future of kiteboarding, there is not more wind limit.

It is held by certified FIV and IKO instructors and guarantees rapid and safety progression. At the end of the course the IKO international certification is issued.

Discover Lesson
The Kiteboarding LESSON in Apulia by Locals Crew is aimed at those who have already had experience with kiteboarding, want to deepen some aspects of the basic course, or want to learn new techniques and styles such as freestyle, wave or hydrofoil. Individual or collective, the lesson is tailor made on certain objectives to be established together by considering any previous experiences and planning personalized training based on the specific case. Thanks to the video footage, training is analyzed to correct mistakes and improve together. It is held by certified FIV and IKO instructors and guarantees rapid and safety progression. At the end of the course the IKO international certification is issued.

    How to get here

    During the summer season, from June to middle of September we do kiteboarding and we give lessons to the following spots around the Salento peninsula according to the wind direction.

    Lesson with boat fuel surcharge € 20 per trip.
