San Foca – Adriatic Sea

The San Foca kitesurf spot on the Adriatic coast in Apulia.

Thanks to the venturi effect of the Otranto channel it is one of the windiest spots in Salento with northerly winds.
It works well with wind from NW to ESE, could be wavy or choppy; it’s not a beginner spot due the narrow beach and few rocks on the seabed.

In the summer season thermal wind from ESE could blow up to 25kt with flat water
